Larry Bloch / Chief Executive Officer
Larry Bloch has been a pioneer and leader in the domain name industry for almost as long as there have been domains to register. The success of Netregistry follows the dramatic rise of NetBenefit in the UK. Launched by Larry in 1994, NetBenefit rapidly become the largest domain provider in Europe. Larry also founded Virtual Internet in France in 1996. After selling NetBenefit to the General Internet Corporation in 1997, he relocated to Sydney, creating Netregistry in 1997. Netregistry has always been committed to innovation, reliability and the determination to always do better for its 100,000's of Australian business customers.
Giles Donovan / Sales Director
Starting as business development manager for NetBenefit (UK), Giles Donovan briefly joined Virtual Internet London Head Office as head of internet products, before relocating to Sydney in 1997 to co-found Netregistry. He heads up sales and business development with a determination to provide customers with simple, economical yet quality online services. Giles is committed to providing a range of solid and dependable products within reach of any budget. Creativity and drive are important to Giles, who ensures all of his staff are equally committed to achieving the best for small business owners.
Brett Fenton / Chief Operating Officer
Brett Fenton's background is as a research scientist, but this all changed when he joined Netregistry in 2000. Over the past decade he has held a number of roles; including Technical Writer, ITC Manager, General Manager and finally Chief Operating Officer. In this current role, Brett's portfolio includes all business operations, including customer service and technology departments. During his time in the industry, Brett has been a director of auDA and has participated in a large number of industry panels - both public and by invitation.
Adam Cassar / Chief Technology Officer
Graduating from UTS with a qualification in Computer Science, Adam Cassar spent two years as a systems and network engineer before joining Netregistry December 1999 as a Perl developer. Before long Adam initiated the project to create and implement the foundations of the Netregistry customer console - dramatically simplifying how Netregistry clients administered their services. Adam also designed the Netregistry hosting infrastructure, delivering a clustered cloud hosting environment years before the competition. Adam has led Netregistry's mission for the best in scalability and hosting technologies, fuelled by his personal passion for the cloud.
Tony Ghiazza / Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary
Tony Ghiazza's skills with corporate accounts have been honed after 20 years in a variety of commercial operations. Having held senior positions at Baycorp Advantage Limited (now VedaAdvantage) and Strategic Capital Management Limited, Tony eventually joined Netregistry in 2003. Since then, he has held a central role during complex acquisitions, rapid expansion and very strong company growth. Tony holds a Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW), Master of Commerce (UNSW) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. He is also a member of the Australian Society of CPAs and is a member of Chartered Secretaries Australia.
Verity Meagher / Marketing Manager
After graduating from UNSW with honours in Media & Communications, Verity spent some time in public relations before joining Netregistry in 2006. She has since held a number of roles with the company and has seen the company grow from one brand to the Netregistry Group - the largest domain registrar in Australia. In her current role as Marketing Manager, Verity ensures that all areas of the business are streamlined and communicated effectively. A perpetual student Verity has also completed a Masters of Business in International Marketing at UTS.
