As a leading provider of online services to small businesses, Netregistry has partnered with The NAB National Small Business summit to promote to the corporate and government sectors the issues of small business; the achievements being made and the challenges being faced.
Netregistry is proud to be named as one of the sponsors of the 9th annual summit, which is one of the most prominent and important small business events in the country.
The aim of The NAB National Small Business Summit is to give small business a voice. The event aims to act as a meeting place for government leaders, big business, associations, networks – and small businesses themselves.
Speaking about the event, Peter Strong, Executive Director of COSBOA says: “Our leaders will listen – it is our job to make sure that we are heard. Everyone who attends the Summit has the opportunity to participate – and to directly impact on the direction of the small business sector”.
The event will include a series of business development seminars that will enable small business owners to access information and motivation. Further more the small business sector will have the opportunity to feedback to Government and business leaders about what is needed within the sector in order to both survive and thrive.
There are a number of issues that will be addressed at the event, including OHS, paid parental leave and red tape issues affecting small businesses.
The Summit itself will be made up of a formal dinner, a networking breakfast, keynote presentations, a business-to-business expo and a series of seminars on everything from Social Media to funding applications.
What’s more, a new initiative has been specifically launched for this year’s summit, which will provide an opportunity for Virtual Delegates to watch the Summit live from their desk – great for those who cannot make their way to Sydney.
The National Small Business Summit 2011 is being held at the Southee Complex, Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park between the 26-27th July.
