An extended planned outage has been scheduled for Sunday the 18th of May to allow for the deployment of a Registry Portal software update, as well as various database enhancements and maintenance tasks.

Outage Time: 12:00:00 - 20:00:00 AEST
Date: Sunday, 18th of May

As a result, it will not be possible to make any transactions on .au domain names.

This includes the following actions:
  • Registration of new .au domain names
  • Renewal of existing .au domain names
  • Transfer of .au domain names between registrars
  • Deletion of .au domain names
  • Delegation (changing nameservers) of .au domain names
  • Updating .au domain passwords
  • Changing whois data on domain names.

Please note that existing (active) domain names will continue to resolve, and stored whois data will still be accessible.

These upgrades are across the entire .au environment, and will affect all domain name registrars. At the conclusion of this maintenance, normal services will resume. Any additional information will be posted in this notification, as it becomes available.
