NetRegistry's Customer Support Ranked 3rd in the World
An independent evaluation into the quality of
customer support delivered by the world's top 50 web hosting companies
has awarded Australian web hosting provider, NetRegisty a perfect
score. Ranking them No.1 in Australia and 3rd globally for quality of
customer support. The next best Australian hosting provider was ranked
21st.
The market research firm HorMart, performed comprehensive
testing across leading web hosting companies from 5 continents. A
series of varied e-mail technical support requests were sent in
November 2006, across multiple communication channels, during a 24/7
period. The responses were measured on a five-point scale based on
accuracy and completeness.
Of the fifty hosting companies chosen, MochaHost (US),
Inermendia.NET (US) and NetRegistry (Australia) received perfect scores
for the quality of their customer service.
"We have recognised for many years now that web hosting is a
critical service for Australian small businesses and this will only
become more so with the current rapid adoption of eCommerce
services."

Whilst NetRegistry's investment appears to have paid off, over
46% of the web hosting companies evaluated were judged to have poor
Customer Support and were unable to deliver effective help.
"We are seeing more and more customers joining NetRegistry
after receiving inadequate customer service from cheaper hosting
providers", says Bloch. "Customers are now recognising that a
reliable, prompt and accurate support service saves time and
frustration. This far outweighs any minor savings they make initially
with budget hosting providers."
