Qualiteam, the X-Cart application providers, have identified moderate security issues in X-Cart versions 3.5.X to 4.1.10. The issues make X-Cart-based online stores potentially vulnerable to malicious attacks that can either render the application inoperable or gain un-authorised access to the applications’ back-end. Qualiteam has released the security update to repair these vulnerabilities.

In view of this, Qualiteam sent a security update notification to all X-Cart customers. As Netregistry is a vendor of this software, we wish to ensure customers take heed of this notification. If you have not acted upon this notification, please review the email sent to you by Qualiteam.

Where do you download Qualiteam’s security fix?

It is strongly recommended that X-Cart users install the security fix available in the HelpDesk “File Area”, click here to login to the HelpDesk using your X-Cart username and password: https://secure.qualiteam.biz/ . Installation instructions can be found in the README.txt file attached to the .tgz archive.

IMPORTANT:
This security patch MUST be applied only after the previous security patch has been applied.
