My name is Silvana Deep and I'm a personal trainer. My business name is Actively Healthy Personal Training and I've been working in my business for a couple of years now. Generally all my programs, all my training is set outdoors or in people's homes.
Well I started my online invention in about October 2008 and that's been going quite well actually. Having a website is exactly what everybody needs I guess - trying to promote myself, promote my business and my services.
People sort of said to me, you can do it yourself it's really easy. It's actually not easy. I had ideas of what I wanted, and because being a fitness professional a lot of the time you see fitness websites that are just all about the gym. It's all about dumb bells and gym equipment whereas I'm completely not like that. My website I really wanted graphics to show that I was outside, it was all being outdoors and being around in the Eastern Suburbs there's so many beaches, parks and beautiful places to train outdoors so that's what I wanted my website to reflect.
They were really flexible and really helpful with what I wanted and I'm really happy with the outcome of my website. I've been getting lots of positive feedback from it - people keep saying 'who did your website it looks really good'.
On the website it's something that can show a little about me, about my personality and about what I'm about. I was very happy to get the website and get it all up and running - It's been really good.
