How to create a sub-category in StoreXpress

To create subcategories, a master category must have been previously created.

1. In StoreXpress Admin click Categories.
2. Select the Pages tab.
3. Click the ID of one of the previously created categories to begin working with subcategories.



4. Click on the Pages tab again (you’ll now notice there are no pages), this is because you aren’t looking at the pages on the Category page but looking at the pages available within the specific category you’ve entered.



5. You now simply create a category as you did in the how to create a category tutorial.

When viewing this category in your shop front, not only will you see the products you’ve assigned to that category but you will also see your sub-categories.
