You can create customer groups in StoreXpress, this can be useful for several things such as organising your customers into different types of mailing lists or separating customers who’ve simply ordered from your shop to ones who’ve registered their details with you.You can easily provide product discounts to a select group of customers by assigning a customer group to a specific price List or emailing coupons to a select customer group. Dividing your customers into groups simply makes the management of them, much easier.
To create customer groups follow the steps outlined below.
- Click on Customers
- Click on Customer Settings
- Under the Customer Groups tab create a new customer group.
If you create more than one customer group, you can set one group for registered customers and another for unregistered customers. When a customer orders a product from your shop, if they don’t register, they will automatically be assigned to the group you’ve designated for customers who haven’t registered.
