Merchant facility transaction password

The transaction password is specifically used to process manual transactions and when refunding transactions made through a client’s merchant account in the console.

NOTE: First time users are required to set a transaction password before processing transactions via the Merchant Facility in the console.

Setting the Transaction Password

  1. Log into the Account Level console.
  2. Select the applicable domain name from the Administer/Upgrade Domain drop down list.
  3. Click [Administer].
  4. In the following page, click Merchant Facilities.
  5. Click Set transaction password. If the password has never been established (set up) the Enter Existing password field should be left blank,
  6. Click [Update].
