In all instances, any caller requesting information or assistance about a Netregistry account must provide a valid Account Reference and Password to correctly identify their authorisation to make such requests.
Many customers, however, may not be comfortable providing such information via phone or email. Instead, customers may provide a One Off Code that can be generated at the time any assistance is required. A one-off code provides an additional layer of security for client accounts, such that login information does not have to be supplied via insecure means, such as plain text email and can be changed at any time.
A one off code may be generated for either Account or Domain:
The Account level one off code is required when requesting changes which will affect all domains on your account or the billing on your account. For example, changing your Company name on all invoices.
- Login to the Account Level console using the Master Account reference and password.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.

- Click Click here to generate a new one off code. The page will reload and a success message will display as below:

- Scroll again to the bottom of the page. The new one off code is displayed.

The Domain level one off code is required when requesting information/updates for the domain name in question, without affecting any other domains on the account. For example, changing the server type your website is hosted on. account level one off code can also be used to authenticate any requests for any individual domains in your account.
- Login to the Domain Level console using the Domain username and password, (or administer the domain from the account level console).
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click Click here to generate a new one off code to reload the page.
- Scroll again to the bottom of the page. The new one off code is displayed.
