Protection of Netregistry customer information is of vital importance to ensure privacy and security for all Netregistry customers. Multiple passwords are required to maintain the integrity of your valuable website and domain name. The following links detail the types of passwords that may be required when accessing any Netregistry service.

Account Level console
Master Account containing all contact, billing, invoicing, and domain information. One or more domains may be listed in an account. Account level details should not be provided to any unauthorised users.
Domain Level console
Domain management, specific to one domain. Manage DNS, Zone records, email accounts, or FTP details. Domain level passwords may generally be provided to anyone working with the specific domain. The master account console is not accessible using domain level username or password details.
Email Account
Email password specific to one email account. These password are generally used to access the email account via an email client (Outlook, Mac Mail, etc), mobile phone (iPhone, Blackberry, etc), or webmail service.
FTP Password
Provides direct access to a hosted domain server. Allows for the transfer of web pages, graphics, and files via FTP to the web hosting server, which are generally made available for viewing over the internet.
Domain Password
Allows for the transfer of a domain name between registrars or changing ownership of a domain name. The domain password is sometimes known as an Auth code, Authinfo code, EPP code/password or domain transfer password.
Unless you have a specific requirement to do so, passwords should only be made available to those entrusted to make modifications to your domain, but should be changed after any official work has been completed.
