When we were approached by Maria Mills Designs to create a website for their custom jewellery business, we established that the SiteBuilder was was exactly what they looking for, with it's Photo Album feature.

After showing the client the slideshow component, they were blown away by the smooth slide transitions and could see that it would give a beautiful and professional display of the jewellery offered! As website designers, the Photo Album feature made life easy for us, as it automatically resized and optimised both the thumbnails and the large images.

The background image, provided by the SiteBuilder template, enabled us to carefully align a custom picture into the curved section of the homepage, which replaces the default picture and blends with the graphical theme of the template design. This has the effect of capturing the user's attention as soon as they land on the website. In addition, the inner pages each have a custom jewellery image header, helping to characterize the entire website. The SiteBuilder footer was useful as it enabled us to easily enter the "Created by" clause and have it displayed automatically at the bottom of every page in a colour that blended in well with the jewellery theme of the website. We also found the elastic beads cursor useful, as it gives the impression of beaded jewellery and brings alive what the website is all about.

The italics, an option in the SiteBuilder online editor, was used on the 'about us' and 'contact us' pages. It gives the impression of an inscription, which is commonly seen on gold and silver bracelets.

We are now working on a website for a Photographer who is also looking forward to viewing his work through the 'online slideshow', so it appears this feature alone is going to create work for us in the future...

Overall, we like NetRegistry because they provide a one-stop shop! They provide the SiteBuilder templates and associated functionality, domain name registrations, website hosting and finally good technical support.
