All of our dedicated hosting customers have full root access to their servers with a choice of either Windows or Linux based operating systems, allowing them total control and the ability to install any 3rd party software or run any 3rd party application of their choice.

Linux Based Operating Systems

We can offer you a choice of the following:


CentOS	Debian	Fedora

Our standard installation is a default version of the latest stable versions or any of the above operating systems at no extra cost. If you require a different Linux/Unix based operating system, we would be happy to install it however must advise that support may be limited.

We are also able to install a default version any of the following software free of charge, if they are requested when the server has been ordered :

Apache
Perl
PHP
MySQL

Microsoft Windows Based Operating Systems

We are a Microsoft partner and all of our Microsoft licensing is part of the Microsoft Service Providers Licensing Agreement (SPLA). We can offer you any Microsoft product that falls under the SPLA agreement for a monthly rental fee. The most popular Microsoft based operating systems that we currently offer are:

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (Web Edition)
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (Standard Edition)

By default, we will install 'Web Edition'; for customers who request a Microsoft Windows based operating system. Please note that; 'Standard Edition' is required to run applications such as MS SQL.

Upon request, we are also able to install as the time of setup any of the following at no extra charge:

IIS 6
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (Express Edition*)
