Deprecation of legacy nameservers ns.au.com and ns2.au.com

Categories Service Alerts

In 2011 Netregistry officially replaced the following hosts:

ns.au.com
ns2.au.com

We have continued however to keep these hosts running for the last two years, providing customers a transition period to re-delegate their nameservers at a time convenient to them.

All domains should now be delegated to:

ns1.netregistry.net
ns2.netregistry.net
ns3.netregistry.net

The deprecated au.com hosts will officially cease resolving on Monday August 19th at 10am (AEDT) . For domains still delegated to the legacy nameservers, all DNS requests will stop being answered and services will not resolve.

We have recently communicated with a number of Netregistry customers who we have identified to still be using our legacy nameservers ns.au.com and ns2.au.com and advised them of this change. However we wanted to advise any customer who may be using these legacy nameservers.

Please ensure you are not still delegated to the au.com hosts immediately to avoid any potential downtime for your services.
