Microsoft Outlook users sometimes run into a problem where, despite them entering in their password multiple times, Outlook continues to display a pop up asking them to enter their network password. There are two possible causes for this pop up to appear in Outlook:
- The password you entered doesn't match the existing password on our mail server
You can update your email password by following the steps on our Update email password support page to ensure they match
- You saved your password in Outlook but the Windows registry contains incorrect information for the Protected Storage System Provider subkey for the user account
Microsoft have a helpful support article regarding this issue which details the steps to take to solve the issue
Another possible solution is to completely delete the email user from within Outlook and re-create the account.
