Netregistry Technical Services team would like to advise of an upcoming scheduled upgrade for the Cloud POP Email infrastructure. Customers utilising Cloud Email and Web hosting plans, as well as StoreXpress will all benefit from this maintenance which is being performed in order to improve the speed and reliability of the service.

Impact: During the upgrade, some clients may re-download their email. The circumstances under which clients may re-download their email include whether they utilise multiple protocols by which to check their email i.e. Webmail, IMAP and POP3. All efforts have been made to minimise any disruption (caused by re-download of email), however it is not possible to determine all possible scenarios under which clients may be affected. We apologise in advance for any potential inconvenience caused by the re-download of email to your mail client.
Following the upgrade of the IMAP and POP3 cluster, customers with larger mailboxes utilising IMAP/Webmail will find significant improvements in speed of their email search.
No changes are required by customers in their email software at any time during or after the upgrade.
