The Australian Domain Administrator (auDA) is a legal Australian body responsible for the administration of .au domain names. It is the policy authority and self-regulatory industry body for the .au domain space. It is formally endorsed by the Australian Government.

Netregistry is one of a only a handful of companies in Australia recognised by auDA as a registrar of .au domain names. Amongst other capabilities, this means we can register domain names and renew domain names that end .au.

Netregistry is subject to the rules and policies set forth by the auDA related to domain name registration.

For any complaints related to domain name ownership please contact the auDA for information about your rights and responsibilities.
