Hi, my name is Karen Curran and I have been running Unicorn Graphics since the eighties and I combine illustration skills and attention to detail with years of experience, knowledge and expertise to provide design solutions for all kinds of businesses.

I needed to keep up contact with my clients, both present ones and past ones and initially I began using the traditional method of using email clients like Entourage or Outlook. And I found that really difficult to keep up with.

So, then when Mailroom was introduce by Netregistry I thought that I would try that then and I found that actually to be very easy to operate and now I send out a regular e-news to my clients.

It's often a reminder because people forget that you exist if you don't remind them. If I send them a little paragraph and say well you can red more about this on my blog or and extended version I invariable find people actually do that.

I really like the fact that it assures me that clients can opt in or opt out very easily. That I'm covering the best that I can regarding the anti-spam laws in that regard. I feel far more confident with sending them out.

I like the feature that you can check and view it as if its in different email clients. I find that really useful because some email clients don't show background colours and things like that.

I like the part of Mailroom that has stats. I like to be able to view that people are able to have seen the e-news. It's very good and it's informative and it gives you an overall thought and this is where you should go. If you find more people are reading it you stick to that time to send it out as well.

It's really good because I can just ring up and ask a question. Sometimes it may seem very insignificant to them but it's important to me. I also like the fact that I can ring them anytime outside of hours because when you're in business you need to be able to contact people out of traditional hours.

I am constantly learning and adapting and I find it very exiting to learn these things, but I know that I will be using Mailroom for a long time.
